Nature Education classes were conducted for the children in schools who also needed to be aware of the surrounding they lived in and to be aware. These classes helped them understand the various factors that could affect their lives, specially as these children were living in sensitive zones and chances of an untoward incident was always probable. Learning to be aware, to be alert, to identify high risk animals and snakes, how to behave and react in situations which will not be harmful to either them or the animals were part of the course during teaching.
Nature Education classes were conducted in schools in Madhya Pradesh and in schools all over Sundarbans. The children were also taken out into the field, to give them a better understanding of their environment, to help them understand and look for signs of animal activity, to recognise if there might be danger and to take proper steps for precaution is better than sorry.
